About the bungalow
My long-term client, Dr. Krishna Varma owns a bungalow in a village near Shahpur, India on a 7-acre land, with a huge farm land. Being the Principal of the English-medium High School there, she was staying in the house with her son at the time of my visit. Her husband, being a Commodore in the Indian Navy, was out at work locatedfar away at Port blair & South Mumbai.
Why did they need Vastu consulting?
I was asked to visit the site due to the recurring resignations of the watchman’s post. Whoever they employed and appointed there in the cabin outside their house, would leave in a month and run away. The property was a south-facing one with a slope towards the north – making it extremely progressive.
So, what was the problem? It was the cabin which was near the gate, in the south west corner of the plot. To make matters difficult, there was a peepal tree right there. Checking the back-history of the plot helped me understand that there had been an accident with a watchman in the past, after which he had passed away. This same fear was driving out every new watchman they hired.
What did they do next?
To purify the energy in that corner zone and help them stay within the progressive plot, I advised them to keep a cow there and then employ a watchman. Also, to ensure that he sleeps a little away from that spot and to build a temple (for Hanuman ji – the God of courage) in that area.
Gradually over time, things stabilized and since then, the situation has been under control. Using this as an opportunity, Dr. Krishna converted it into a big cow shed with 23 cows. Through this, they provide milk to nearby schools in Shahpur and now have 14 acres (double!) of land. They plan to build a retreat, wedding ground, mall and a school for the village children there.
